I am runnig WinSettings Pro under Windows 2003 with the Pop-up Blocker on but still getting pop-ups. What do I do?
If you are runnig recently released or updated Windows, you need to also do the following to make the Pop-up Blocker to work:
In Internet Explorer, click Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | and check Enable Third Party Browser Extensions (requires restart). Then restart Windows.
I can't find my WinSettings Pro System Tray icon. When I double click the WinSettings Pro Desktop icon, it says WinSettings Pro is already running but I can't see it in the System Tray. What do I do?
First, use Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up the Task Manager, select winpro.exe from the list and end it. Then, double click the WinSettings Pro Desktop icon to bring it back to the System Tray.
I have saved my online banking login information on the computer. How do I remove it to prevent others from accessing my account?
Many banks store your login information in Cookies on the local computer. If this is how your bank does it, you can use the Cleanup, Clean Up Cookies feature to remove saved login information. You can cleanup cookies in the WinSettings Pro main program, Cleanup, Clean Up Cookies, search for the name of the bank and then delete it. We strongly recommend that you try it first to determine if your bank stores information in cookies.
